This portrait is by far my favourite from the Mary Stuart series, loosely inspired by history and the beautiful dress designed by @monschik, while strongly relying on Renaissance aesthetics and it's symbolism. To me this particular image is so evocative, so deeply felt that I cannot stop coming back to it and be at awe how expressive @fenella_ch is in her portrayal of our fictional character, who's story we've based on that of Mary, Queen of Scots.
It was an absolute pleasure working with a magnificent team of women, all of whom contributed to this wonderful masterpiece portrait.
